How to Get Your Kazakhistan Diplomatic and Official Visa

DIPLOMATIC (A1)

You can apply for an "A1" category Diplomatic visa (single entry up to 90 days / multiple entries up to 1 year) if you are:

• Head of State, Government, International Organization, and members of their families with diplomatic status;
• Member of Parliament, International organization, and members of official delegations holding diplomatic passports;
• Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan.

You can also apply for the "A1" category Diplomatic visa (single entry up to 90 days / multiple entries up to 120 days within 1 year) if you are:

• Holder of a diplomatic passport or equivalent diplomatic status passport;
• Diplomatic courier with official courier's papers.

DIPLOMATIC (A2)

You can apply for the "A2" category Diplomatic visa (single entry up to 90 days / multiple entries up to 180 days) if you are:

• Diplomatic agent or equivalent representatives of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Kazakhstan, traveling to Kazakhstan for official work;
• Honorary Consuls of foreign states accredited in Kazakhstan and their family members.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

1. Valid Passport: Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the validity of the requested visa and should have at least two blank pages for the visa and entry/exit stamps.
2. Visa Application: A separate visa application form must be completed for each person. All fields must be filled out; incomplete applications may be rejected. Download the visa application form.
3. Visa Fee Payment: $0
4. Photo: One passport-size photo (3.5cm x 4.5cm or 5 x 5cm) of the applicant, attached in the upper right-hand corner of the application form.
5. Verbal Note or Visa Support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan: A Verbal Note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your country, addressed to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Kazakhstan, requesting the issuance of a visa. It should include your name, the purpose of your trip, your contact in Kazakhstan, the dates of your trip, and places you intend to visit.
6. Photocopy of Your Passport’s Main Page: Provide a clear copy of the main page of your passport.
