
How to Get Your Kazakhistan Student Visa
Study Visa – C9
You can apply for a C9 Visa under the Education category (single entry up to 90 days / multiple entries up to 1 year) if you are:
- A person traveling to apply to study in Kazakhstan;
- A student already studying in Kazakhstan, including your family members;
- A student participating in a student exchange program.
Required Documents
- Visa application form (completed properly in block letters);
- Visa support form approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan;
- Admission letter from the university;
- One recent color passport-sized photo of the applicant (attached to the marked space in the upper right-hand corner of the application form). Photo requirements: 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, full face, no smiling, sunglasses, hats, or other head coverings (except for religious or ethnic reasons). Background: white;
- Passport (with at least two blank pages, valid for at least three months longer than the requested visa validity);
- One copy of the passport;
- For applicants under 18 years old: notarized proof of consent from a parent or guardian to study in Kazakhstan (translated into Kazakh or Russian).
Visa Fees
- Single entry – 80 USD;
- Multiple entries – 200 USD.
Getting Your Passport Back
- You can receive your passport in person or arrange for a courier to collect it.
